Avenue 81, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Activities Director to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of activities that promote resident entertainment, engagement, and socialization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of residents
- Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure successful execution of activities
- Manage and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all residents and staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of activities with facility operations
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation, social work, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in activity programming or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
This is a full-time position that requires regular worksite attendance and flexibility to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays as needed.
