Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Management/Patient Safety Program, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Assist with the coordination of the Performance Improvement Program to monitor processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Quality Leadership Team and other stakeholders to provide constructive input and channel concerns appropriately.
- Highlight priorities through data analysis and trending, incident response, and assist with staff education to advance patient safety and minimize risks.
- Graduate of a school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
- 2+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, required.
- 2+ years of experience with computer programs, database programs, spreadsheets, and project management, preferred.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), preferred.
Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Women's & Children's healthcare services.
