Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Operator for our PET sheet line (Recycled PET). The successful candidate will be responsible for executing tasks in our manufacturing area, adhering to scheduled production requirements. This role involves operating production equipment safely and efficiently to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

Key Responsibilities
As a Production Operator, your duties will include:

  • Managing the operation of the new PET sheet line, including the feeding, mixing, and blending of raw materials, as well as extruder operation and roll station tasks.
  • Operating powered forklifts and trucks safely.
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of all equipment.
  • Maintaining the quality of finished goods.
  • Participating actively in the training of new operators.
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and team members.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Previous experience in extrusion, particularly with plastic sheet production.
  • A High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with computer systems, particularly Windows operating systems.
