Position Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Guide and oversee team members, ensuring accountability for safety, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures consistently.
  • Continuously assess and improve processes and methods for optimal resource utilization.
  • Supervise daily job execution, including training, performance assessments, and employee relations.
  • Recommend necessary tooling and replacement parts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fabrication area.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production Control, and Quality Assurance on technical and quality issues.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures.
FACILITY-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Champion goals related to Quality, Safety, Innovation, and Cost, providing feedback on process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain open communication and collaboration with other departments.
  • Ensure regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Manufacture products to specifications and drawings.
  • Oversee departmental operations, including training, attendance tracking, and maximizing production flow.
  • Schedule work to meet production targets.
  • Uphold quality standards.
  • Train operators on equipment usage.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure proper upkeep of equipment.
  • Keep management informed of any operator-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards among all operators.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, supporting HSE and 5S initiatives.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of new employees.
  • Foster continuous workforce development through cross-training and performance evaluations.
  • Implement and maintain organized training documentation.
  • Ensure all training requirements are documented and accessible.
  • Experience in environments focused on continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with JDE is preferred.
