Screen Production Technician

Job Overview
Duties encompass, but are not limited to, the assembly of screens according to engineering specifications in a cost-effective and safe manner. Responsibilities include:

  1. Trimming or marking screens as required.
  2. Boxing and crating components.
  3. Moving parts and assembling various components.
  4. Unpacking items for the assembly process.
  5. Organizing equipment and materials in designated areas.
  6. Cutting screens and steel to specified lengths.
  7. Grinding and other related tasks.

Quality Assurance
Conduct quality checks on components to ensure accuracy in dimensions and quantities.

Cross-Training
Willingness to cross-train in other areas as necessary to fulfill production schedules and manufacturing requirements.

Communication Skills
Ability to speak, read, and write in English is preferred.

Forklift Operation
Capability to operate a forklift is required.

Work Schedule
Must be available to work extra hours and weekends as needed.

Work Environment
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Housekeeping Responsibilities
All employees are expected to assist with plant housekeeping, which includes:

  • Cleaning and sweeping.
  • Emptying trash receptacles.
  • Proper storage of chemicals.

Adherence to all safety and environmental policies is mandatory. Employees must utilize personal safety equipment as required by company policy and report any safety concerns or injuries promptly.
