Human Resources Assistant

Q3 Contracting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative and technical support for the human resources function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating the onboarding process, entering data, and processing employee transactions. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to effectively interact with employees, managers, and internal partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling drug screens, backgrounds, and orientation coordination.
- Enter data and process new hires and other employee and manager transactions in the system of record.
- Act as a resource to employees and managers on routine human resources matters via the HR Help Line, fax, and email.
- Maintain basic knowledge of various programs human resources supports and refer employees and specialized resources or leaders when appropriate.
- Sort and distribute departmental mail.
- Assist in the administration of assigned programs.
- Collaborate with business partners from the human resources, payroll, safety, and fleet teams to assist employees and leadership.
- Prepare reports.
- Perform routine audits.
- Assist in processing of departmental bills.
- Organize and order departmental supplies.
- Participate in special projects.
Requirements
- Associate degree in business or related field required; Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or related field desired, or equivalent experience.
- Previous administrative support and/or data entry experience highly desired, but not required.
- Ability to accurately enter a high volume of data, consistently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain and protect confidential information.
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic to proficient computer skills (MS Office).
- Bilingual (Spanish) desirable, but not required.
Compensation
$22-$24 (DOE)
