Role Responsibilities and Requirements

The MD Now Urgent Care Clinic operates from 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week. Flexibility to work during these hours is essential.

We are looking for a Patient Care Representative who excels in providing expertise and championing patient care. Our dedicated team collaborates to support one another, and we seek an exceptional addition who shares our passion for meaningful patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently check-in patients, ensuring adherence to all Web Check-in protocols.
  • Respond to clinic phone inquiries, providing information or directing questions as necessary.
  • Accurately verify insurance information in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational client preference cards and procedures.
  • Review patient documentation for completeness and ensure collection of necessary insurance and demographic data.
  • Complete the Daily Balance Checklist at the end of each shift, ensuring all payment methods are accounted for and documented.
  • Willingness to travel or float between various MD Now locations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in a clinical patient care environment.
  • Required: Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer applications effectively.
