This position encompasses a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities aimed at promoting patient wellness through a thorough approach to healthcare.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrating a compassionate and patient-focused demeanor.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and excel in a collaborative, patient-centered atmosphere.
- Familiarity with various computer applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Google Workspace, and electronic health records.
- Prior experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous, though not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Welcome patients warmly and assist with the check-in process, emphasizing the creation of a friendly environment.
- Support medical professionals in documenting comprehensive patient histories, including lifestyle, dietary habits, and stress factors.
- When necessary, measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and body composition metrics.
- Assist in preparing patients for their scheduled appointments, ensuring all required information and lab results are accessible to both the medical provider and patient 24 hours prior to the appointment.
- Set up examination or procedure rooms for upcoming appointments, including:
- Assisting in the appropriate clinical setup for specific procedures (e.g., wrinkle relaxers, fillers, regenerative injections).
- Help medical practitioners in cleaning examination or procedure rooms following patient visits.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care plans, including recommendations for supplements and lifestyle changes.
- Process patient orders for in-office supplements and through partnered pharmacies.
- Educate patients on R3 Health's recommended care plans, whether virtually or in-person, including relevant resources such as blogs, instructions, and videos.
- Coordinate patient appointment scheduling as necessary, based on recommendations from medical consultations (follow-up visits, dietitian consultations, IV therapy, or other in-office clinical appointments).
- Ensure precise and comprehensive patient records are maintained in the electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team, facilitating clear communication regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Provide ongoing support to patients through regular follow-ups via phone, text, or email.
