Job Summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with chronic and acute illnesses and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Patient Care: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members, and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses, as well as the patient's plan of care.
  • Interventions and Revisions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards, revising the plan of care as needed based on evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to establish priorities and ensure seamless patient care, utilizing clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Health Certificate and PPD: Current Health Certificate and PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Life Support Certification: Current BLS card.
  • Experience: One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Specialized Skills: G-tube, Trach, Vent.
