Position: SharePoint and Power Apps Specialist

Location: Austin, TX (On-Site)

Objective

The SharePoint and Power Apps Specialist will play a crucial role in crafting, developing, and deploying both standard and tailored functionalities within SharePoint, particularly focusing on SharePoint Online. This will involve utilizing tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Forms, Teams, and other Office 365 applications.

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee the daily management of the current SharePoint and Teams environment, which includes enhancing and maintaining SharePoint sites, creating departmental portals, workflows, reports, and web parts, as well as providing user support.


• Offer technical guidance to develop, support, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain SharePoint, Teams, and other O365 applications.


• Manage the environments to ensure compliance with best practices and standards.


• Create various automated forms, workflows, and specialized web parts, including Power Apps and Power Automate.


• Design, develop, and implement content management systems, forms, and necessary customizations.


• Develop custom lists, sites, and document libraries tailored to organizational needs.


• Conduct training sessions for end users in both classroom and field settings.


• Diagnose, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair components and service applications as required.


• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SharePoint and O365 technologies.


• Define and implement interfaces between SharePoint solutions and other systems.


• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications


• Exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness, and meticulousness.


• Strong understanding of SharePoint, particularly SharePoint Online, along with the ability to adhere to SharePoint best practices.


• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


• Demonstrated enthusiasm, motivation, and a willingness to learn.


• Proficiency in one or more development languages or tools such as Java, .Net, XML, or SSRS.


• Familiarity with SQL and the ability to administer SQL to support SharePoint is highly advantageous.


• Capability to develop custom web applications using standard tools.


• Proven knowledge of current and emerging features in SharePoint.

Education and Experience


• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field is required.


• A minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development, including security and permission settings.


• At least two (2) years of hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate/Flow, Forms, and Microsoft Teams is preferred.
