Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the recruitment and selection process for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). This role will be responsible for implementing best practices, providing data analysis, and process improvement to enhance the recruitment efforts of the DMV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage the recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates
  • Provide data analysis and insights to inform recruitment decisions
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to build talent pipelines

Requirements

  • Considerable knowledge of human resource management and recruitment principles
  • Experience in a talent acquisition role, with a focus on recruitment and selection
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Human Resources certifications, such as PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
  • Experience with Commonwealth of Virginia recruitment policies and procedures
