Land Acquisition Manager

About the Role
Lennar Homes is seeking a skilled Land Acquisition Manager to join our team. As a key member of our land acquisition team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring land, lots, and development opportunities that align with our company's strategies and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential land acquisition targets.
- Collaborate with brokers, landowners, and other stakeholders to negotiate land purchases and development agreements.
- Facilitate due diligence processes and schedule activities for contracted projects.
- Participate in weekly land acquisition meetings and provide updates to senior management.
- Maintain inventory reports, critical dates, contract summaries, and market analyses.
- Network with other builders and developers to stay market-aware and develop key contacts.
- Assist management in negotiating terms and specifics of purchase and sale agreements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance, or similar field preferred.
- Proficient in computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling, and data management software.
- Knowledge of sales/negotiating principles and real estate.
- Effective and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to exercise initiative and achieve objectives with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented problem-solver capable of handling complex situations.

Physical and Office/Site Presence Requirements
