As a vital member of the food services team, you will play a key role in enhancing the dining experience for patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with their menu choices and ensuring their dietary needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Introduce patients to our VIP Room Service and guide them through menu selections.
2. Assemble, deliver, and retrieve meal trays for each service.
3. Address patient special requests and dietary needs, ensuring timely and accurate meal delivery.
4. Communicate any food-related concerns to the Culinary Services and Nursing teams.
5. Collaborate with Nursing staff regarding patient nutrition requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Certification:
Food Handler Certification is required.
Education:
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is necessary.
Skills:
- Proficient verbal communication and writing skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Capacity to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
