Business Insurance Life Sciences Account Executive
3 weeks ago
Award-winning, inclusive, Top Workplace culture is built on the hard work of extraordinary people. Our team of over 9,000 industry professionals delivers purposeful work and meaningful impact every day. As a Commercial Lines Account Executive for the Life Sciences team within the Business Insurance line of business, you'll utilize your exceptional client servicing skills to maintain and expand client relationships within your own assigned book of accounts. You'll also provide professional insurance services to our clients by coordinating with Producers, Underwriters, Service Team members, and other departments. This includes providing coverage analysis and risk management recommendations, completing applications, preparing submissions, negotiating coverage and pricing with carriers, and preparing proposals according to agency standards. You may also be called on to resolve issues related to billing, make policy changes, respond to policy coverage-related questions in a timely and professional manner, and prepare exposure comparison, premium comparisons, renewal reviews, and renewal proposals.
Our future colleague:
We're looking for a professional with 10+ years of insurance industry experience, including at least 3 years in a brokerage environment. Experience working with Life Sciences clients is highly preferred. You should have an active Property & Casualty license and experience in managing assigned accounts through the client life cycle, including the renewal process. You should also be able to establish the renewal strategy in concert with Producer, Service, and Placement teams, expand services at each renewal through upselling and cross-selling, secure exposure information from clients, and prepare, maintain, and execute a service calendar in collaboration with clients, service teams, and producers. Additionally, you should be able to drive pre-renewal/stewardship, renewal proposal presentations, claim reviews, and loss control meetings, address and resolve client issues, and demonstrate innovative thought leadership as market trends. A Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or other related fields, as well as insurance designations, are a plus but not required.
Valuable benefits:
We value and respect the impact our colleagues make every day both inside and outside our organization. We've built a culture that promotes colleague well-being through robust benefit programs and resources, encourages professional and personal development, and celebrates opportunities to pursue the projects and causes that give colleagues fulfillment outside of work. Some benefits included in this role are generous time off, including personal and volunteering, tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities, hybrid work, charitable contribution match programs, and stock purchase opportunities.
