Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Randstad. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) related to food contact packaging and aligned to any FDA requirements.
  • Perform first piece inspection and in-process audits (inspections) throughout manufacturing.
  • Work closely with team members to quickly resolve any quality issues that may arise at incoming, in-process, and out-going locations.
  • Evaluate internal products and materials, providing evaluation results and documentation to necessary personnel as needed.
  • Review, follow-up on control documents and make sure documents are complete.
  • Collect samples.
  • Update QA procedures as needed.
  • Participate in audits.
  • Maintain Sanitation, HACCP, SQF standards.
  • Monitor product sequence to verify that correct product is being run and file completed reports.
  • Attend training classes/seminars as needed to increase knowledge base-Sanitation, HACCP, SQF.
  • Follow all quality and food safety policies and procedures to ensure products meet all applicable customer, regulatory and industry standards.
  • Identify, report and resolve nonconforming issues.
  • Maintain ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Ability to use micrometers and calipers.
  • Knowledge of first piece, in-process and final inspection.
  • Previous ISO/GMP and in-process testing experience.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in product inspection.
  • 5 years of experience in quality control.
  • 3 years of experience in HACCP.
  • 3 years of experience in SQF.
  • 5 years of experience in first yield pass.
  • 5 years of experience in quality audits.
  • 5 years of experience in corrective actions.
  • 5 years of experience in root cause analysis.
  • 5 years of experience in micrometers.
  • 5 years of experience in calipers.
  • 5 years of experience in ISO 9001.
  • 3 years of experience in GMP.
  • 3 years of experience in GDP.
  • 3 years of experience in corrugated packaging.

This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary range of $49,920 - $56,000 per year.
