**Job Summary**

As a Police Officer with the Minnesota State Government, you will play a critical role in maintaining public safety and order. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to emergency calls and situations in a timely and effective manner.
  • Deterrent and investigative work to prevent and detect unlawful activities.
  • Monitoring and mitigating hazardous road conditions to ensure public safety.
  • Responding to and managing traffic accidents, including scene triage and rescue efforts.
  • Providing assistance and support to the community in times of need.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public order and safety.
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to support criminal cases.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to achieve public safety goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community members to build trust and promote public safety.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
