The role of the Construction Quality Manager encompasses the oversight and coordination of all quality assurance activities within construction initiatives. This position is pivotal in ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, project specifications, and industry benchmarks, while performing audits and evaluating the quality of ongoing and finalized work.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with the Safety Team to synchronize safety measures with quality initiatives.
  • Guide the Operations Team in the execution and compliance of quality protocols.
  • Establish and monitor annual quality objectives, analyze patterns, and resolve quality-related challenges.
  • Create and enforce comprehensive project quality strategies, including Inspection and Testing Plans (ITPs).
  • Oversee quality assessments, inspections, and maintain thorough quality documentation.
  • Recognize and alleviate quality risks associated with construction activities.
  • Deliver quality control training sessions for field personnel and supervisors.
  • Foster and sustain robust relationships with clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years in civil construction, with at least 3 years dedicated to quality control or assurance.
  • Familiarity with construction regulations (MnDOT, ACI, AWS, etc.).
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
