As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the kitchen operations and drive sales and profit goals for the restaurant by implementing, managing, and enforcing company policies, procedures, programs, and performance standards. You will also guide kitchen staff, ensuring the execution of all duties to maximize guest satisfaction and maintain a quality work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager in planning and analyzing staffing and operational needs. Accountable for achieving profit targets while ensuring optimal guest satisfaction. Aid in the planning and assessment of restaurant staffing, ensuring effective training and development of all employees, including junior managers. Support the General Manager in all aspects of recruitment and staffing, including interviewing, selection, training, and onboarding. Participate in the University of Perkins and successfully complete all required coursework. Maintain and achieve ServSafe certification. Capable of performing all functions across various positions in the restaurant. Ensure all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented correctly in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner according to established procedures and standards. Monitor food temperatures during handling to minimize risks associated with food-borne illnesses. Ensure compliance with productivity and service standards by scheduling and staffing a sufficient number of well-trained employees. Manage facility and equipment maintenance through preventive measures, energy conservation, repairs, security, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Maintain inventory levels for food and non-food items according to company guidelines through effective ordering and usage practices. Ensure accurate financial data management, including restaurant supplies, inventories, food costs, payroll/productivity, and operating expenses. Proactively identify and resolve system breakdowns to enhance guest satisfaction. Responsible for accurate financial reporting, including payroll, cash handling, productivity, food costs, and operating expenses; prepare and review financial statements. Attend scheduled team meetings and present information to peers and management as needed. Required Qualifications:

One to two years of experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in food service. High school diploma; some college education or degree preferred. Strong communication skills with employees, vendors, and guests. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

Extensive standing without breaks. Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors. Requires bending, reaching, and walking. Must be able to reach heights of approximately 6 feet and depths of up to 3 feet. High level of mobility and flexibility in the workspace. Must be able to fit through openings 30" wide. Ability to work irregular hours under pressure during peak times. Must be able to carry trays of food weighing up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
