Speech Language Pathologist PRN Inpatient Rehab

As a Speech Language Pathologist PRN Inpatient Rehab, you will play a vital role in our team's mission to provide comprehensive communication and swallowing rehabilitative services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert communication and swallowing rehabilitative services to patients in our inpatient rehab department.
  • Assume a leadership role in the Speech Therapy/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation department, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Completed a nine-month Clinical Fellowship.
  • Two years of experience as a Speech/Language Pathologist.
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR course completion card.
