About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center team at Texas Health Resources. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing effective treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients to determine their level of functioning and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, including speech and language therapy, to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based treatments in speech language pathology
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Current Texas Speech Language Pathology License or eligibility for licensure
  • 1 year of experience in adult acute/rehab care, preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
