Exciting Opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist at Tx-Star Speech Language Services

Tx-Star Speech Language Services has been a trusted partner in the educational sector, collaborating with numerous school districts and educational institutions. Our team is composed of highly skilled professionals who specialize in special education, bringing valuable insights to effectively support diverse student populations.

Our mission centers around fostering the growth and development of students through exceptional speech and language therapy services delivered by our committed Speech Language Pathologists (SLP's).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing challenges.
  • Create, implement, and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans tailored for students with communication difficulties.
  • Deliver direct therapy in educational settings utilizing evidence-based methodologies to address various disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop comprehensive support strategies for students.
  • Maintain precise documentation, ensure adherence to regulations, and stay updated on best practices.
  • Promote student progress through effective communication and targeted strategies.
  • Opportunities available include Part-Time, Full-Time, On-site, and Hybrid roles with a diverse caseload from Pre-K to 12th grade.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
  • Experience in school or pediatric settings is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education regulations and diverse learning needs.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth and adherence to best practices.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly regarded.
