Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Texas Health Dallas. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing effective treatment plans, and implementing interventions to improve communication and swallowing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide therapy sessions to patients, including speech, language, and swallowing interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • Current Texas Speech Language Pathology License or SLP-I certification
  • 1 year of adult acute/rehab care experience preferred
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
