Collections Specialist

At OneMain Financial, we're committed to providing responsible access to credit for hardworking Americans. As a Collections Specialist, you'll play a critical role in helping our customers achieve financial stability by providing consultative solutions for loan repayment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with financial servicing needs through inbound and outbound contact, listening to their situations and determining how they can best utilize our products and services.
- Work in a goal-oriented environment to meet personal and team targets, balancing multiple tasks and activities throughout the day.
- Negotiate with customers to resolve account matters, following all applicable laws, policies, and procedures, including compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and state regulations.
- Maintain and note all relevant information and documentation on customer and account status.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve common goals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in utilizing multiple tools and systems simultaneously.
- Ability to achieve and exceed goals.
- Experience in customer service, collections, or call center environments.
- Bilingual: Spanish.
