RESPONSIBILITIES:

The staff nurse delivers nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

They operate within the framework of the organization's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.

The staff nurse is accountable for upholding standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.


Qualifications:


MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

New Graduates of a nursing program are eligible MINIMUM LICENSURE/

CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification is required

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN positions:

One year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred
Bachelor's degree is preferred
Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
