About the Role

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Admit Recover Unit team on a PRN basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pre and post-operative care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology departments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Monitor patient progress, report changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or multistate license (NLC/eNLC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • New graduates of nursing programs are eligible to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certification in a specialty area, if applicable.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
  • Nursing experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a similar unit or department.
