Job Title: Fundraising & Events Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising & Events Specialist to join our team at the Children's Developmental Center. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for implementing fundraising strategies, planning and coordinating events, and securing financial resources to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and individual donations.
  • Plan and execute fundraising events, including galas, auctions, and other activities that promote our mission and engage our community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community partners to secure financial support and promote our organization.
  • Collaborate with our development team to create and implement comprehensive fundraising plans, including annual giving, major gifts, and planned giving.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of donor interactions, gifts, and other development activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to donors, stakeholders, and community partners.
Requirements:
  • At least one to three years of experience in fundraising, event planning, and development.
  • Proven track record of success in securing donations, grants, and sponsorships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate strong empathetic interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, donor databases, and social media.
  • A commitment to the Children's Developmental Center's mission and values.
