Your Responsibilities:

The Fire Protection Systems Lead Installer will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of various fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression systems, along with fire pumps and backflow prevention devices. This role also involves managing the execution of installation project plans, ensuring timely equipment delivery, accurately estimating installation hours, anticipating challenges, and securing all tools and equipment at the end of each work period to prevent loss or damage.

Key Duties Include:

  • Utilizing sound judgment based on experience and established practices.
  • Leading a team by delegating tasks and promptly addressing any issues that may hinder installation activities.
  • Resolving challenges through thorough research of multiple options while maintaining accurate documentation of all work performed.
  • Reviewing project specifications to gather necessary information for installation tasks.
  • Being available for alternative shifts or weekends to meet job requirements.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation as needed and adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Conducting inspections as required.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in the installation and servicing of fire sprinkler systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Physical capability to handle equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in various positions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications.
  • Flexibility in working hours is essential.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and procedures consistently.
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy with customers and team members.
  • Excellent organizational skills, a positive demeanor, and a quick learning ability.
