Your Responsibilities:


As a Fire Sprinkler Installation Technician, you will be tasked with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression systems, along with fire pumps and backflow prevention devices.

Advanced Installer roles will also involve overseeing the execution of installation project plans, ensuring timely equipment delivery, accurately estimating installation hours, anticipating potential challenges, and securing all tools and equipment to prevent damage or loss.

How You Will Achieve This:

Utilize sound judgment based on experience and established practices.
May lead a team, promptly addressing any changes, discrepancies, or coordination issues that could hinder installation activities by informing the construction manager.

Regularly resolve challenges by exploring multiple alternatives. Maintain accurate documentation for all tasks performed. Review project drawings to gather necessary information for installation tasks in accordance with specifications. Flexibility to work various shifts or weekends may be required to meet customer or project demands. Participation in an on-call rotation may also be necessary. Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures. Inspections may be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications:


Required:

- 3-5 years of documented experience in the installation and servicing of fire sprinkler systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Comfortable working in challenging positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high-lift equipment up to 60 feet, as well as in ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications relevant to installation tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating tact and diplomacy when interacting with customers and team members.
- Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a quick learning ability.
