Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and operating standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, new concepts, and technologies to optimize system performance.
  • Lead a team of operations and maintenance personnel, providing guidance and coaching to ensure effective management of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Hazardous Waste Disposal and Air Quality Standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource plans to ensure efficient use of personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize system performance.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of progressive supervisory and management experience in water treatment operations or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to manage resources (personnel, equipment, materials, facilities, funds, and reputation).
  • Strong knowledge of process/operations management, QA/QC procedures, safety, environmental, and facilities/capital management.
  • Proficiency in equipment management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong PC skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Familiarity with maintenance, operation, regulatory reporting, and cost estimating software.
  • Proficiency in the care and use of all site-specific, facility-required PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
  • Company's Code of Business Conduct and other Company policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to serve rotational 24-hour emergency on-call if required by site.
