Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Governance and Research Specialist to join our team at Charter Communications. As a key member of our Media Department, you will play a critical role in supporting our efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Media Governance and Research Strategy Development: Collaborate with our Media team to develop and implement media governance and research strategies that ensure the validity of all investments across traditional and digital media.
  • Media Placement Audits: Conduct routine audits of media placements and investment strategies in collaboration with agency partners to ensure optimal performance.
  • Brand Safety and Compliance: Develop and maintain brand safety guidelines and procedures to protect our clients' interests.
  • Competitive and Industry Reporting: Oversee competitive and industry reporting and analysis to inform media strategy and planning.
  • Media Budget Reconciliation: Work closely with Business Planning to reconcile budgets and related tasks.
  • Audience Insights and Data Analysis: Support the Media team by using data to develop audience insights that guide media strategy, planning, and execution.
  • Agency Partnerships: Collaborate with agency partners to identify new opportunities and monitor competitive strategies.
  • Ad Hoc Requests: Fulfill various ad hoc requests for media governance and research as needed.
Requirements:
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, with effective communication, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Effective problem-solving skills and ability to implement changes rapidly that positively impact media performance.
  • Time Management and Delivery: Ability to deliver under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail and Strategic Thinking: Ability to effectively see trends, themes, and macro impacts, with effective attention to detail, balanced with the ability to think strategically.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated in-depth Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Research Methodologies and Industry Knowledge: Ability to support the complete auditing and research processes, including outside agencies, partners, consultants, and vendors, with knowledge of all major research methodologies, leading companies, associations, publications, industry trends, and innovations.
  • Management or Leadership Experience: Management or leadership experience, with a proven track record of success.
