Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Social Media Marketing Intern to support our marketing efforts during the fall and winter seasons. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in social media and the beauty industry.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in social media, particularly within the beauty sector.
- Familiarity with various social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Video editing and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite are highly desirable.
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Creative mindset with an eye for captivating content.
- Knowledge of current trends in beauty, luxury, and pop culture.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment, with the ability to accept constructive feedback.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- This position reports to the head of integrated marketing and the social media marketing coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos and create engaging visual content.
- Understand and embody the brand's personality and voice across social media platforms.
- Identify trending sounds and videos for integration into our digital content.
- Produce content for specific assignments as required.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in social media and content marketing.
- Adapt to evolving social media algorithms, trends, and platform features.
- Assist in the filming and production of TikTok content as necessary.
- Contribute ideas and support the Digital Marketing Coordinator in crafting innovative social media campaigns.
- Help execute social media advertising initiatives when applicable.
- Conduct research to gain insights into the target audience and their preferences.
- Utilize audience insights to customize content and marketing strategies effectively.
Compensation
The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18, with the opportunity to work up to 30 hours per week.
