Job Overview

As a Controls & Electrical Project Manager, you will engage across various sectors to deliver exceptional Operational Technology initiatives, including program development, interface creation, documentation, and support alongside Electrical design and equipment packages. Your responsibilities may span assembly lines, well heads, data centers, and beverage facilities, providing managed SCADA services within a single week.

Key Responsibilities

Project Managers are tasked with guiding internal teams, contractors, and customer resources. Candidates should possess experience in fieldwork related to Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control roles, industrial programming, and network management, along with proven project leadership and management capabilities.

Essential Knowledge Areas
  • Project Management Methodologies (Scrum, Agile, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Project Budgeting and Financial Oversight
  • Proficiency with project tracking tools
  • Soft skills including emotional intelligence and coaching
  • Technical Writing with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation Engineering and Field Services
  • Industrial Communication Protocols
  • Industrial Networking - serial, IP, wireless
  • Control Cabinet Design and Troubleshooting
  • Electrical and Signal Troubleshooting
  • RTU / PLC Programming - Ladder Logic, Sequential Function Blocks, Structured Text
  • DCS Development
  • SCADA Programming, Graphics, and Support
  • Drafting and Control Panel Design

Work is conducted in hybrid environments, combining in-office collaboration with remote work and field support as necessary. Anticipated travel may require 10%-30% of nights away from home.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Commitment to a drug-free workplace
  • Valid Driver's license with unrestricted travel capability
  • Familiarity with Programming and Industrial Networking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Red Lion, Opto22, Ignition, VT SCADA, Phoenix Contact, Emerson, etc.
  • Expertise in P&IDs, Control Narratives, Cause and Effects, and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
