Guidepost Montessori is seeking a visionary School Director to lead our educational programs and drive growth in the states of Indiana and Ohio. The School Director Role

We're looking for a leader who shares our passion for Montessori education and has the talent and perseverance to grow enrollment, attract and retain top staff, build a strong parent community, and ensure exceptional educational experiences for every child. As the School Director, you'll provide strategic leadership to the campus team, driving results and excellence in all aspects of our programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the campus, aligning with our organization's mission and goals
  • Create a strong culture that embodies our values and mission, fostering a sense of community among staff, parents, and children
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, staff, and community leaders
  • Ensure the delivery of an exceptional educational program, meeting the highest standards of quality and excellence
  • Manage campus budget and ensure profitability targets are met
  • Collaborate with the Assistant School Director to drive enrollment growth and retention
  • Hire, support, develop, and manage teaching staff, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to succeed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Early childhood education leadership experience, preferably in a Montessori setting
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on results
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Aptitude for creating a warm and benevolent team culture, fostering collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive results and excellence in all aspects of our programs
  • A passion for Montessori education and a commitment to our organization's mission and values

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience teaching in an early childhood education setting, preferably in a Montessori environment
  • Experience as an Admissions, Administrative, Program, or School Director for a preschool
  • Familiarity with the Montessori method of education and a certification in Montessori teaching
