Job Title: Director of Nursing

Eastland Rehab and Nursing is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our skilled nursing facility. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, program development, and implementation of nursing services that meet the needs of our residents and community.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the nursing floor, CNAs, LPNs, and residents to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Coordinate clinical operations, implementing shared governance and relationship-based care in all departments as assigned by the Administrator.
  • Provide guidance and leadership in meeting CMS standards of quality and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care plans, assessments, and other relevant information.
  • Supervise CNA's, LPN's, and RN's in a supportive and clear manner to ensure the highest level of care for residents.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid state licensure as an RN.
  • Three years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care, with experience in supervising nursing staff and others.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers, including Microsoft Office, and able to maintain regular attendance.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision, maintaining confidentiality, and relating professionally with residents, families, and employees.
