Job Overview:

We are seeking committed Customer Parts and Service Specialists to enhance our team of skilled professionals.

The role of the Customer Parts and Service Specialist encompasses essential customer service duties related to parts ordering. Key responsibilities include assisting clients, processing parts requests, and conducting research to identify the appropriate components. Deliver exceptional customer service while guiding clients in selecting the most suitable parts for their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture sustainable relationships with customer accounts through transparent and engaging communication.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all clients, aiming to boost sales through various communication channels.
  • Support customers and technicians by accurately identifying and sourcing the necessary items.
  • Collaborate with local suppliers to ensure precise parts identification.
  • Provide customer service and phone support to all clients and technicians.
  • Generate and submit Purchase Orders for required items.
  • Welcome customers at the parts counter and assist them with their inquiries.
  • Comprehend all vendor purchasing protocols and guidelines.
  • Manage, monitor, and process parts returns, issuing credits in accordance with company policies.
  • Handle billing invoices and process transactions via various payment methods.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory control.
  • Support the preparation of customer sales and work order estimates.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional demeanor towards customers at all times.
  • Address customer complaints, providing suitable solutions and alternatives within specified timeframes; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Keep comprehensive records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Coordinate and communicate with colleagues as necessary.
  • Assist in managing all daily incoming and outgoing shipments, utilizing shipping software.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous customer support experience.
  • Preferred experience in the industry.
  • Prior experience with parts is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift or carry items weighing up to 100 lbs.
