Parts and Service Advisor

Position Overview:In the role of Customer Parts and Service Specialist, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service for various parts ordering tasks. Your duties will encompass assisting clients, processing parts requests, researching technical specifications for accurate parts identification, and upholding high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with customer accounts through effective communication.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance sales through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing necessary items.
- Collaborate with local suppliers to ensure accurate part identification.
- Offer customer support via phone and assist at the parts counter.
- Manage Purchase Orders for required items.
- Support inventory management and processing of returns.
- Handle billing transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Work on customer sales and service quotes.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards customers.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Coordinate with team members as necessary.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks using relevant software.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
- Excellent phone handling and active listening abilities.
- Demonstrated background in customer support.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Skill in building and nurturing customer relationships.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer support is preferred.
- Experience in the industry and with parts is advantageous.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
- Capability to lift objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
