Contribute to a fulfilling team while delivering exceptional service to a diverse patient population.*Position Overview
+ The Healthcare Customer Service Specialist (CSS) is responsible for managing incoming calls, welcoming patients, and maintaining accurate patient and insurance records in the database.+ Assesses and verifies health insurance benefits, collects co-payments, and clarifies payment policies and billing/collections procedures.+ Directs inquiries to the appropriate personnel and coordinates appointment scheduling with effective customer service skills.+ Supplies patients with Avera Chart information and assists with enrollment as necessary.Qualifications
+ A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.+ One to two years of relevant experience is preferred.+ Proficiency in basic computer operations is required.Work Schedule
+ PRN or as required to cover employee absencesCompensation**The hourly wage for this position is detailed below.
