Your Role
The Sales Manager is accountable for enhancing the sales experience within designated departments of a Neiman Marcus store. This role involves collaborating across various departments, guiding the team towards achieving sales targets, and leveraging team strengths to create a customer-centric sales environment, all while upholding the Neiman Marcus standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Strive for maximum sales growth in alignment with the company's vision and values, in collaboration with other functional leaders.
- Oversee all merchandise aspects and maintain effective communication with merchant and vendor partners, including presentation, returns, and damages.
- Manage team performance, proactively addressing risks and obstacles to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Contribute to the store's strategic goals and prioritize tasks by department.
- Review departmental performance with relevant Buyers and develop action plans for improvement.
- Establish strategic initiatives in partnership with Client Development Leads.
- Analyze customer behaviors, trends, and preferences to refine processes and standards.
- Plan and manage departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to guidelines to optimize operating expenses and maximize revenue.
- Support compliance audits to maintain departmental and stockroom controls.
- Oversee personnel, product placement, and sales promotions within the department.

Qualifications
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in luxury retail fashion.
- Proven track record of achieving sales results.
- Experience in building, leading, and motivating teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
