Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Join GFL USA, a leading waste management company, as a Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a maintenance department and supervise a team responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, lead a team of maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to identify and address maintenance-related issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of trucks, scheduling work, and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
