About the Role
Verge Mobile is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading and developing the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.
- Assist in the overall store operations, including managing customer traffic, balancing wait times, and ensuring the store is fully staffed at all times.
- Stay current on all products, services, and promotions, and assist in educating the sales team on relevant information.
- Ensure the store always looks its best and is compliant with the T-Mobile merchandising requirements.
- Support store operations and ensure compliance with the guidelines set by T-Mobile and Verge Mobile.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years of previous experience in retail sales or customer service industry.
- Knowledge of the wireless industry standards and technology is preferred.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas/goals.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sales and sales management experience.
- Operational and financial management experience.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Capable of building trusting relationships.
- Exhibits a can-do attitude that is positive, supportive, and cooperative.
- Team player that can work well with staff and store leader, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues.
- Can effectively balance customer needs and performance goals.
- Must be flexible to work various shifts throughout the week which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand long periods of time.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
