About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Customer Experience Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through effective selling and merchandising strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, responding to their needs and exceeding their expectations
  • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers, leveraging product knowledge and digital resources to increase sales
  • Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions, focusing on size and fit in apparel areas
  • Promote services and products through social media and sales promotion calendars
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate with sales and customer experience managers to provide daily customer feedback and improve customer experience
  • Maintain department recovery standards, including selling floor and fitting rooms
  • Adhere to asset protection control and compliance procedures
Requirements
  • Focused on upholding Macy's dedication to diversity, inclusion, and respect
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers, and management
  • Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • At least 1 year of selling or retail experience
