Flame Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Flame Artist to join our team at Company 3/Method Studios. As a key member of our post-production team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality visual effects and finishing work on a variety of projects.

• Working closely with the Flame Supervisor and VFX Producer to achieve the highest creative and technical standards of work
• Organizing media for archiving and liaising with data services to ensure efficient management of the Flames
• Meeting tight deadlines and adhering to production schedules
• QC and mastering of deliverables

• Knowledge of working with timelines, conforming, and mastering deliverables
• Strong sense of compositing, color, design, and thorough knowledge of the film industry
• Knowledge of file formats and compression methods
• Knowledge of cleanup, beauty work, element integration, and matte painting
• Comfortable working in a client-attended bay and developing creative solutions
• Extensive knowledge of extraction techniques for bluescreen and greenscreen
• Solid knowledge of both VFX and finishing in Flame
• Nuke experience is an asset
• Knowledge of tracking software
• Excellent understanding of techniques and technologies related to CG and compositing
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to deliver work within established project targets and high-quality standards
• Pro-active and excellent communicator
• Ability to thrive under pressure of tight deadlines
