About the Role

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Triage and Onsite Care RN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients in an office-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and work with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
  • Accurately calculate medication dosages and assist physicians and nurse practitioners as needed.
  • Provide telephone triage and document all patient, physician, and other contacts.
  • Participate in revenue cycle by ensuring authorizations and referrals are in place and notify the Billing Associate of needs for further authorizations.
  • Document correct CPT and ICD-10 codes for services provided.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and communicate effectively and courteously with patients and their families.
  • Treat all patients and their families with dignity and respect.
  • Use standards of patient satisfaction as a measure of effectiveness.
  • Follow universal precautions and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a current/valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state that they are providing services.
  • Maintain and possess a state RN license.
  • Must maintain CPR certification.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
