About the Role

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Triage and Onsite RN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients in an office-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely triage services to patients, including assessing patient needs and developing effective care plans.
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners as needed, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Document all patient interactions, including telephone triage and in-person consultations, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Participate in revenue cycle management by ensuring authorizations and referrals are in place and notifying the Billing Associate of any needs for further authorizations.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care, including CPT and ICD-10 codes for services provided.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain a safe and respectful environment for patients and families.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, families, and healthcare team members, demonstrating a caring attitude and commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
  • Current/valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state where services will be provided.
  • Maintain and possess a state RN license.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
