About the Human Resources Department:
The Human Resources department oversees recruitment, hiring, compensation, and benefits for our extensive workforce. Our team employs data-driven strategies to enhance customer service and support the organization's broader objectives of excellence in service delivery.

About the Position:
Graham Windham is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to further the strategic objectives of the agency and the HR department. The Specialist will play a crucial role in developing a high-caliber workforce and fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes quality, customer service, and continuous improvement. This role involves building professional relationships with hiring teams and community partners to enhance the organization's visibility and attract top talent.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Recruitment and Selection:
  • Manage the complete recruitment cycle and staffing logistics.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with potential candidates and resources for hiring qualified personnel. Participate in job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Conduct initial screenings and evaluate resumes of applicants.
  • Perform comprehensive phone interviews utilizing a competency-based interview model.
  • Assist in creating engaging materials for recruitment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain job descriptions.
  • Post job openings on internal and external platforms.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers to strategize on attracting high-quality candidates.
  • Work alongside hiring managers during the interview and selection process, assisting with reference checks and providing guidance.
  • Partner with the Credentialing/HRIS Specialist to ensure compliance with hiring regulations and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare welcome kits and offer letters for new hires.
  • Facilitate internal personnel transitions such as promotions and transfers.
  • Oversee the offboarding process for departing employees.

Human Resources Information System (HRIS):
  • Administer and maintain the HRIS and other tracking systems for personnel-related data.
  • Manage logistics related to employee orientation and training.
  • Track workforce data and generate reports to support strategic goals.
  • Ensure effective onboarding for new hires, including orientation logistics and access to HR tools.

Hiring Expectations:
  • Deliver efficient and effective recruitment and staffing solutions for assigned programs, focusing on quality candidates.
  • Build meaningful partnerships with hiring managers and foster a collaborative environment regarding hiring and employee relations.

Other Duties:
  • Participate in agency meetings and workgroups to gather information and represent the HR department.
  • Provide additional support as needed for programs or departments.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field; or an HSD/Associates Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience and certifications.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of recruitment experience in-house or with a staffing agency.
  • Familiarity with HR platforms such as Paycom is advantageous.
