About the Role

IDEXX Laboratories is seeking a skilled Credit Specialist to join our team. As a Credit Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our accounts receivable and ensuring timely payment from our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and reconcile accounts receivable, using multiple systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with customers, maintaining a positive relationship and resolving conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Audit and validate data for accuracy, identifying discrepancies and making corrections as needed.
  • Input data into financial systems and databases, adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other stakeholders to exchange information and resolve issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementation.
Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills, including accuracy and speed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with multiple systems and databases, with SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, patient, and thorough, with excellent customer service skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work individually and as a team player.
  • PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
