Job Title: Credit Specialist

IDEXX Laboratories is seeking a skilled Credit Specialist to join our team. As a Credit Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our accounts receivable and ensuring timely payment from our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect overdue receivables and negotiate payment arrangements with customers.
  • Manage and process payment arrangements/plans, and route customer disputes to the appropriate parties for resolution.
  • Audit, validate, and reconcile data for accuracy to ensure adherence to established policy.
  • Input data into accounts, systems, and/or databases according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Respond to and research questions and issues as needed, and communicate with related departments, employees, customers, financial institutions, and others to exchange information.
Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Data entry skills, including accuracy and speed in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
  • Ability to work with a variety of systems and databases, including SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, patient, and thorough, with good customer service skills and ability to exchange information with a wide variety of people.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, organized with ability to multi-task, and ability to work both individually and as a team player.
