About the Role

IDEXX Laboratories is seeking a skilled Credit Specialist to join our team. As a Credit Specialist, you will play a critical role in the collection of accounts receivable and reconciliation of customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Review and analyze customer accounts to determine account status and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Customer Communication: Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure prompt payment of accounts and resolve any disputes or issues.
  • Data Entry and Maintenance: Accurately input and maintain customer data, accounts, and financial information into our systems and databases.
  • Reconciliation and Auditing: Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office, and SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
