Job Overview

Maryland Healthcare Clinics is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Patient Care Coordinators. We have opportunities available across various locations. In this role, you will engage with patients who have experienced personal injuries, including those from auto accidents and workplace incidents.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities. You will assist both medical professionals and patients through a range of tasks focused on patient care management, organization, and effective communication. Your role will involve direct interaction with physicians, gathering patient medical histories, assisting in treatment planning, and providing compassionate support.

Team Collaboration: You will work alongside a diverse team, including physicians, chiropractors, radiology technicians, and administrative personnel.

Work Schedule: Standard hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on Fridays. We offer both part-time and full-time positions with no evening or weekend shifts.

Compensation: The hourly wage ranges from $15 to $20.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience in a receptionist or front desk role is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and registering patients upon arrival.
  • Addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Facilitating the intake process for new patients.
  • Assisting patients in completing necessary forms.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Confirming existing appointments and scheduling new ones.
  • Retrieving medical records as required.
  • Uploading documents to our online portal when necessary.
  • Maintaining an active patient list.
  • Completing any outstanding patient procedures as needed.
  • Handling phone calls and email correspondence.
  • Supporting medical staff by preparing necessary documentation and managing prescribed treatments.
