Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze oversized and overweight vehicle routing and permitting, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, district offices, and law enforcement personnel to ensure safe and efficient transportation of oversized and overweight vehicles.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with accurate and timely information.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry best practices, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus two (2) years post-secondary education in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of wheel and axle weight configurations in accordance with federal bridge standards.
  • Proficient knowledge of numerous permit class types, vehicle configurations, and general and special requirements for each vehicle class and type.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to comprehend technical written materials and communicate effectively with clients.
